Connecticut has some of the strictest gun control laws in the nation. Permits are needed to even purchase weapons. Obtaining a license to carry that weapon is even harder. Yet, a 20-year old boy, Adam Lanza, still managed to unlawfully take possession of firearms and murder 28 innocent people in Newtown, CT. His crime were sickening; his crimes were evil. What’s equally as sickening are the amounts of people ready to trample the rights of 80 million American gun owners. These brainwashed sheep actually believe that new laws are going to prevent evil from happening. When guns are outlawed, only outlaws will have them. Will outlawing spoons prevent people from getting fat? Gun control has never been proven effective. Disarming the American public will only lead to millions of new targets for criminals and a tyrannical government. How do the gun control advocates plan to rid the nation of 300,000,000 guns? Will they ask people to just “turn them all in?” That’s laughable.
