It takes a brave citizen to answer the call of duty and join the United States Armed Services.  Military veterans have been put through hell.  They’ve bled on the beaches of Normandy; they were unjustly exposed to Agent Orange in Vietnam, and they have been dismembered by improvised explosive devices in the police actions in Iraq and Afghanistan.  Many of us will agree that the United States should never have invaded Vietnam, Iraq, or Afghanistan; these wars are totally unnecessary, but the wars’ futility has nothing to do with the people who are serving in them.  However, few will disagree that our men and women in uniform are heroes.  Without the sacrifices of the brave, America would never be free.

Our collectivist leaders love to praise the troops.  They honor their sacrifices with moments of silence; they publicly mourn their deaths, and they celebrate their safe return to our soil.  In the past few years, however, the Obama Administration has shown its true colors.  In 2009, the Department of Homeland Security–the American Gestapo–released an unclassified document on terrorism.  That document, titled, “Right-wing Extremism: Current Economic and Political Climate Fueling Resurgence in Radicalization and Recruitment,” labeled returning veterans as the top domestic terror threat.  The DHS suggests some of our nation’s heroes may be prone to committing acts of domestic terrorism due to a harsh economic climate and problems with reintegration into society.

The Sandy Hook tragedy has every lemming, television head in America on edge.  Whenever a tragedy strikes this great land, people are always looking for a group to demonize.  The federal government is demonizing returning veterans.  Let’s face it.  Returning veterans aren’t terrorists.  They are the heart and soul of this nation. Now, many of our veterans are receiving notifications that if they are seeking VA funding (to which their service entitled them), and are deemed “incompetent” (likely without due process), they may be forever stripped of their most sacred human rights.

So, you ask, why would the feds want to take veterans’ Second Amendment rights from them?  FEAR.  FEAR.  FEAR.  The government knows that returning veterans are highly trained.  They also know that they can beat the government at their own game.  After all, the government trained them.  Returning service personnel are also able to expose malfeasance being committed overseas.   Famous Americans, such as George Washington and Robert E. Lee, once served in the armies against which they later fought. The greatest, most powerful way to discredit and control these individuals is to label them as being mentally ill, which will subsequently lead to their disarmament.  This denial of rights is completely orchestrated by design–and is based on historical precedent.  What did the USSR do to many veterans who returned to the Motherland after years fighting on the front?  They sent them directly to gulags.

Soon enough, it will not solely be veterans who are falsely labeled as being “mentally incompetent” and stripped of their Second Amendment rights.  In January 2013, President Obama, the Marxist-Leninist dictator of the United States, issued 23 executive orders as a part of his war on the Second Amendment.  Many of those orders involve doctors spying on their patients, and they directly relate to possibility of falsely labeling citizens as being mentally incompetent:

(You can listen to Mr. Garbo’s evaluation of the 23 executive orders on First Amendment Media’s Free Speech Radio)

1. Issue a Presidential Memorandum to require federal agencies to make relevant data available to the federal background check system.

2. Address unnecessary legal barriers, particularly relating to the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, that may prevent states from making information available to the background check system.

4. Direct the Attorney General to review categories of individuals prohibited from having a gun to make sure dangerous people are not slipping through the cracks.

14. Issue a Presidential Memorandum directing the Centers for Disease Control to research the causes and prevention of gun violence.

16. Clarify that the Affordable Care Act does not prohibit doctors asking their patients about guns in their homes.

22. Commit to finalizing mental health parity regulations.

23. Launch a national dialogue led by Secretaries Sebelius and Duncan on mental health.

These orders are the foundation of the deliberate dismantling of Constitution.  No longer can Americans trust their physicians without fear.  No longer can Americans obtain assistance for mental heath ailments with fear.  At first, they will come for the veterans.  Then, they will come for the libertarians and constitutionalists.  After that, they will come for John Q. Citizen and his NFL watching family.

Recognize the tactics of the collectivists, and you just might defeat them.

Drones to Patrol U.S. Skies

MQ-1 Predator Drone

MQ-1 Predator Drone

By now, people worldwide are used to seeing drones on the evening news.  Unmanned drones, like the MQ-1 Predator are the new face of warfare.  Drones do not require a pilot to be physically on board and decrease amounts of military personnel casualties.  Despite their ability to diminish allied losses of life, these machines have led to a great many deaths.  Predator drones, manufactured by General Atomics, and used by the U.S. government in operations in the Middle East, have the ability to be equipped with Hellfire missiles.  The combination of Predator drones and Hellfire missiles has been especially deadly to foreign civilians.  In fact, it has been said that drones kill 50 civilians for every one “suspected” terrorist–like American citizen Anwar al-Awlaki.

A recent poll found that 56% of Americans favor continued drone strikes against enemy combatants on foreign soil.  Those who took part in the poll favored the strikes because drones effectively kill suspected terrorists and minimize American casualties.  However, how will these Americans feel when they find out that Predator drones are headed for U.S. skies?  Well, like it or not, they’re coming.  According to an article from the L.A. Times, federal authorities are increasing their efforts to license the use of drones to local law enforcement agencies and other institutions.  Contrary to popular belief, this licensed drone use is not new; since 2007, the Federal government has issued over 1,400 licenses to police, universities, and public works departments.  Not all of the authorized drones are of the Predator type–some are even as small as model airplanes.

Most Americans are not concerned with drones spying into every aspect of their lives.  They have an “I’m not doing anything wrong, so I don’t have anything to hide” attitude.  As history has taught us, all law-abiding citizens have something to fear in a government that wishes to spy on its citizens.  In the USSR, government and citizens spies victimized many citizens who were not engaging in malfeasance.  Most Americans truly have nothing to hide.  I have nothing to hide.  If the police searched my home at this very moment, they would not discover any illegal items.  No drugs.  No explosives.  No illegal guns. However, the Fourth Amendment states:

“The right of the people to be secure in their persons, houses, papers, and effects, against unreasonable searches and seizures, shall not be violated, and no Warrants shall issue, but upon probable cause, supported by Oath or affirmation, and particularly describing the place to be searched, and the persons or things to be seized.”

Simply, I will not consent to any search unless the police have a warrant. I also do not consent to being spied upon by a drone.  Why?  It’s my right to privacy.  The government (at any level) has no right to invade my privacy unless it has been duly authorized by a court of law.  This is the American way.

While many law enforcement agencies would only use this new technology to conduct surveillance on known criminals, others will not.  The authorized use of drones on domestic criminals will soon lead to spying on the general public.  According to the L.A. Times article, local agencies spend nearly $600 per hour to fly manned aircraft; they only pay $25 per hour to fly unmanned drones.  This significantly less expensive option will lead to significantly more unwarranted surveillance.

If local government agencies begin using drones for surveillance purposes, how long will it be before they being using them for offensive purposes?  As already stated, certain drones are capable of firing missiles.  I fully expect that drones, armed with missiles, machine guns, or sniper rifles, will be used by local law enforcement agencies within the next decade.

Luckily, some Americans have rejected the use of drones for civilian uses.  Recently, Charlottesville, VA, placed a two-year moratorium on the use of drones by city officials.  Others jurisdictions are following suit.  The taking of pictures of private property by use of a remote control aircraft, even ones used by hobbyists, may soon be banned in Texas.    These are steps in the right direction; they are steps to enhanced liberty, and they are steps that may eventually save lives.

Waco-Like Behavior

FBI Photo – Waco Siege, Feb. 28, 1993

On Feb. 12, 2013, after being involved in a week-long killing spree, Christopher Dorner engaged police officers in series of violent shootouts in the mountains near Big Bear, CA.  A San Bernardino Sheriff-Coroner’s deputy was killed.  According to an article in the L.A. Times,  officers, in an attempt to end the gun battle with the former-LAPD police officer, murderer, and fugitive, who was holed up in a cabin with supposed hostages, threw an incendiary tear gas grenade into the building.  The grenade reportedly caused the cabin to become engulfed in flames.  A charred body was later found; however, it cannot be confirmed (at this time) to be that of Christopher Dorner.  Although I have no sympathy for Christopher Dorner, I am left with serious questions regarding the actions of senior law enforcement officials.

As we near the 20th anniversary of the FBI’s illegal siege of the Branch Davidian compound in Waco, TX, I can’t help but be reminded of that terrible day in American history.  On April 19, 1993, FBI agents, under the direction of Attorney General Janet Reno, raided the compound after a 50-day standoff.  In all, 76 people, many of whom were children, perished in the resulting fire.  That fire that supposedly killed Christopher Dorner was strikingly similar to that which killed the 76 Branch Davidians: both involved the use of CS grenades.

At what cost is law enforcement going after the bad guys?  As previously stated, I have no sympathy for Christopher Dorner, but I do have sympathy for any possible hostages he may have taken.  I have no true sympathy for David Koresh, but I do have abundant sympathy for the innocent Branch Davidians who were unjustly shot and burned to death on the orders of Janet Reno, who was the most senior U.S. law enforcement official at the time.

I hope that Americans, especially gun owners are paying attention to history.  Gun owners are the new terrorists in the eyes of the globalists.  While I do not anticipate massive gun confiscations to take place in the near-future, I do suspect that they will come.  When they do come, you can bet on law enforcement using incendiary grenades against those who are resistant.  These actions will lead to many more people being killed.

Sick Society: Support Growing for Murderer, Dorner

Former-LAPD Officer Christopher Dorner

Former-LAPD Officer Christopher Dorner

If there was any doubt left that America is a sick society, it has completely disappeared.  On February 3, Christopher Dorner, a former-LAPD patrolman, who was fired in the wake of a (supposed) whistle blowing campaign, began a revenge killing-spree.  That spree left Monica Quan, the daughter of an LAPD detective, her fiance, and a Riverside, CA, police officer dead.  Meanwhile, a manhunt, with a $1 million bounty, has ensued. Dorner claims that he was wrongfully terminated and has sworn revenge, in a 14-page manifesto, against the LAPD.  The manifesto can be read in its entirety by clicking the link in the previous sentence.

Most people are shocked and horrified at the actions of Christopher Dorner.  Most Americans, especially those of us who refuse to believe in media hype and pop culture heroes, don’t support revenge–and don’t support murder.  Contrary to the belief of Christopher Dorner and his heroes (Dorner, in his sick manifesto, lauds gun control and its supporters, including Sen. Dianne Feinstein, Piers Morgan, and Barack Obama), the vast majority of gun owners–even those of us who own semi-automatic weapons with high-capacity magazines, could never condone Dorner’s actions.

To the disbelief of many, there are Americans who support Christoper Dorner, his manifesto, and his actions.  In fact, there are thousands.  This afternoon, I perused Facebook and located nearly 30 Dorner “fan” pages.  One such group, We Stand with Christopher Dorner, had 10,504 “Likes.” Another page, “I Support Christopher Jordan Dorner,” had 9,555 “Likes.” That’s 20,059 sick Americans.  Many of these individuals are devout leftists.  Others, by their violent comments, seem unable to separate video game fantasy from real world reality.

Some of the pages, like “I Support Christopher Jordan Dorner,” claim, “This is not a page about supporting the killing of innocent people. It’s supporting fighting back against corrupt cops and bringing to light what they do.”  The way to fight back against corrupt police (and I do not deny that the LAPD has them) is to expose them.  Use the mainstream media; use the alternative media; use social media, but do not resort to violence!  Resorting to violence will never stop police corruption.  Besides killing innocent police officers and their family members, it causes even the most corrupt members of the force to look like heroes.  Christopher Dorner could have been a hero. If he truly was wronged and his claims were true, he could have been successful is exposing his foes.  Instead, he chose evil.  Christopher Dorner is not a hero; he a murderer.  The people he killed were real, and unlike characters from a video game, movie, or television show, they will not come back to life.

The Truth About Mass Shootings

Your chances of being killed in a mass shooting? It’s the same as being struck by lightning.

Are you worried about being killed in a mass shooting?  Do you believe in the media-hype behind the shooting at Sandy Hook Elementary School in Newtown, CT?  Are you “demanding a plan” to control firearms?  Do you favor resorting to gun control policies, which have been proven ineffective by criminologists and historians?  If so, you’ll love, “The Facts About Gun Control,” by John Fund of the National Review.

Reader Beware!  Your media-created, anti-gun fantasy is about to collapse!

Despite what you’ve been told by the media, mass shootings are no more common today than in prior decades.  They may even be decreasing.  In fact, sources say they peaked in 1929.  The same sources site that mass killing occurred before modern firearms (like the AR-15, the gun feared most by the collectivists) were invented.  In 1780, Revolutionary War veteran Barrett Mallory, often considered America’s first mass murderer, bludgeoned two people to death before setting fire to their home, killing their three grandchildren.

If the media has you convinced that you face a high likelihood of being killed in a mass shooting, you should avoid betting on horses.  Your odds of being killed by the Adam Lanza-type are nearly the same as being struck by lightning–about one in 700,000.

Until the Newtown murders, the worst school shootings in history occurred in the U.K. and Germany.  Does anyone remember what happened in Norway (another nation where guns are banned) in 2011?  In July of that year, Anders Behring Breivik, opened fire at a K-12 summer camp, killing 85.  The media, due to his right-wing views, call Breivik a terrorist–and not a mass murderer.  One might ask the question:  what’s the difference?

One common theme to most mass killings is the the perpetrator has a history of mental illness.  Despite the media claiming that the government is trying to keep guns out of the hands of the mentally ill (which they’ve been doing since 1968, when the Gun Control Act was passed), they’re not actually helping these people with the treatment with their ailments.

John Fund cites Economists John Lott and William Landes, who conducted an impacting 1999 study and found:

“…a common theme of mass shootings is that they occur in places where guns are banned and killers know everyone will be unarmed, such as shopping malls and schools.”

Mr. Fund’s report breaks down even more information that debunks the mainstream media’s fear-mongering lies.  It is up to you to decide: are you going believe the lies and “demand a plan” (as Comrade Bloomberg would like), or are you going to demand that the government cease all infringements on your Second Amendment rights?

These organizations and companies are fighting hard against your Second Amendment rights–and they’re using the power of the dollar. It is crucial that everyone join the NRA–and other pro-gun organizations, like the truly no-compromise gun lobby, Gun Owners of America.  Our rights depend on it!

Drone Strikes Against American Citizens ‘Legal’

(Note: The Young Turks, who created the above content, are advocates of gun control and other activity which is anti-liberty.  Their opinions do not represent those of Mr. Garbo or First Amendment Media)

How did watching the above video make you feel?  Where were Obama’s fake tears when these children were killed?  How would you feel if your family were the victims of unconstitutional drone strikes?  How would you feel if your family were put on a kill-list and had their rights to due process denied?  How much longer are you going to stand idly by and watch criminals like Barack Obama and Eric Holder justify murder?  How much longer will it be until drone strikes are used against Americans…in America?

In an investigative report issued by NBC News, a confidential U.S. government white paper claims that drone strikes against American citizens are allowed under law.  The legal strikes, aimed at taking out key Al-CIA-da terrorists, many occur even if there is no evidence that there is a threat of an imminent attack.  Click here to read the article in its entirety.

Don’t be confused when the government claims that these actions are reserved for Al-CIA-Da jihadists!  What happens when the government begins labeling American dissenters as “domestic terrorists?”  The FBI has already admitted that they were (and may continue) to investigate the Occupy Movement as a possible threat.  Average, everyday activities, like paying for your coffee with cash, are also being deemed as suspicious.  Since the government is already claiming that their drone strikes against American citizens living abroad are legal (even if there is no evidence to suggest an imminent threat), how much longer will it be before they are begin striking Americans in the homeland?
