This is what the mainstream media never told you. They don’t want you to know about the heroic actions of Nick Meli, the young man who drew his lawfully carried firearm in an attempt to stop an active shooter at the Clackamas Town Center. As a responsible and trained gun owner, Meli was not willing to risk shooting an innocent bystander in order to terminate the incident. Although he was not able to safely fire his pistol, his willingness to take control of the situation likely led to the shooter’s suicide. Just imagine if a person like Nick would have been present inside Sandy Hook Elementary School. The media and all of the anti-gun sheep would be singing an entirely different tune.
